The Violence of Democrat Hypocrisy

Posted by Randy

Earlier today I put a comment on a social networking website that denounced the reported violence and stressed that our most powerful weapons we have are our votes. But the more I thought about the complaints from Democrats about the perceived violent backlash, the more I began to remember the Bush years and the disgusting, violent rants from the left. So join me as we reminisce about the thrilling days of yesteryear and relive some of the Bush-hating rants from the kind, gentle and pure as the driven snow Democrats.

Did we forget about the left constantly calling Bush dumb even when it was determined that he got higher grades in college than John Kerry?

Did we forget eight years of the left comparing Bush to Hitler?

Did we forget about Nancy Pelosi saying “You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,”

Did we forget the 2006 movie titled “Death of a President” about the assassination of George W. Bush? I don’t remember any objections to that movie.

How about this MoveOn.org ad comparing President Bush’s foreign policy to Hitler’s?

I can go on and on, but my simple point is that when the left complains and uses the scare tactics of right-wing violence as political tools, the hypocrisy is overwhelming. Either their memories are as short as a goldfish’s (3 seconds) or they are just blatantly duplicitous. Cries of Cheney and Bush as war criminals seem to have been forgotten as they whine and complain when Obama is compared to a socialist based on his policies and now actual bills he has signed into law.

In the same week that he and the Democrat-controlled Congress spent trillions of our dollars without our permission and will be raising our taxes to pay for a complete government takeover of our healthcare, they have the nerve to be surprised that people would react in a less than calm manner. When unemployment doubled on Obama’s watch, people are nervous. But they don’t take into account the millions of people who have attended town hall meetings and marched on Washington, and the relatively few isolated incidents which have been perpetrated by a select stupid few. I have heard every major talk show host and every Tea Party organizer denounce the racist comments and violent actions of a few ignorant people.

I will say it again. Violence against our political opponents is NOT the American way, and the Founding Fathers were wise enough to write wonderfully brilliant documents which spell out how bills become laws, and the rights afforded to us. Personally my keyboard is mightier than my sword and I intend to use it to expose the hypocrites in Congress to whoever wants to read about it. I didn’t start this blog for conservatives only. I envisioned reaching the Democrats out there and educating them that they are hitching their wagons to the wrong star. If you want to make a real change in this country, the answer is to vote the bums out. Send this to a liberal, but then you better stand back. They’re likely to get violent.
